I make mistakes. I learn. And finally, move onto other things.
I'm only human. And I'm learning to live. Just like everyone else.
welcome to the REAl world...
peaceguy: dude, you have read my blog right?
start working on a PhD...u will get so used to these emotions that after some time they cease to exist..hehe
Your parents are so right that what you do need is a guy. Get a life and stop being miserable by all means pls.
All at the same time? Or do they happen in alphabetical order perhaps? :)
Anup: oh, i don't need to do all that. all i need to do is relocate. anonymous: on the contrary, the reason i'm feeling all this is because my parents are trying to get me married off. the tension is getting to me. rhyncus: yeah yeah! you can laugh now. when you go back to india for vacations and your folks start talking about marriage, you'll know what i'm talking about.
hmm relocation...is that so difficult????
If you don't hit me on the head I feel like laughing out loud at the reactions you are getting for this post! :PCheer up! Imagine some poor guy somwhere being as tensed on being showed hundreds of prospective bride photos. :D
anup: relocation is the only difficult part really. if i could just get up and go things would have been fine. apoo: lol! no, i'm not sucking on lemons in the middle of a conference, i'm freaking out cos my parents want me to get married. BIG diff.FR: :)yeah, the comments are hilarious! i'm trying to think this through and see how i can emerge out of it with my single status intact. not really bothered about guys having to look thru snaps as well. hell! i have enough problems!
Long time to be feeling all that, no? :-) Feeling better, I hope :-)
Oh, they've been trying to make me 'see sense' for some time now, but something tells me I'll survive unscathed. :) Hope you do too. All the best.
Hello againAbout your parents, sit them down one day (perhaps after a wedding trip with them) and explain in no uncertain terms that this is something you'd rather work out yourself. My folks aren't the easiest to talk to, but I did this anyway, and I've been rewarded with at least two years without nagging.Sometimes showing them you can manage this on your own works better.
Rhyncus: there's a reason you're living by yourself in the mountains! :P and thank you. i need all the luck i can get.Jim: That is precisely what my folks are worried about.
