Your parents are so right that what you do need is a guy. Get a life and stop being miserable by all means pls.

All at the same time? Or do they happen in alphabetical order perhaps? :)

Anup: oh, i don't need to do all that. all i need to do is relocate.

anonymous: on the contrary, the reason i'm feeling all this is because my parents are trying to get me married off. the tension is getting to me.

rhyncus: yeah yeah! you can laugh now. when you go back to india for vacations and your folks start talking about marriage, you'll know what i'm talking about.

anup: relocation is the only difficult part really. if i could just get up and go things would have been fine.

apoo: lol! no, i'm not sucking on lemons in the middle of a conference, i'm freaking out cos my parents want me to get married. BIG diff.

FR: :)yeah, the comments are hilarious! i'm trying to think this through and see how i can emerge out of it with my single status intact. not really bothered about guys having to look thru snaps as well. hell! i have enough problems!

Oh, they've been trying to make me 'see sense' for some time now, but something tells me I'll survive unscathed. :) Hope you do too. All the best.

Hello again

About your parents, sit them down one day (perhaps after a wedding trip with them) and explain in no uncertain terms that this is something you'd rather work out yourself. My folks aren't the easiest to talk to, but I did this anyway, and I've been rewarded with at least two years without nagging.

Sometimes showing them you can manage this on your own works better.

Rhyncus: there's a reason you're living by yourself in the mountains! :P and thank you. i need all the luck i can get.

Jim: That is precisely what my folks are worried about.
