Everyday

I die a little everyday,
And at the end of it,
wish I had lived a bit instead.

In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: It goes on.

peaceguy: yeah, you too!

AB: nope, i just sat around and drank my 7up. we met outside, on common ground. i didn't like him, he seemed too full of himself cos he's a big-wig regional manager of something insanely boring. SO I told him this isn't gonna work out, we shook hands and that was that!

anon: r u calling urself robert frost?!!

You are lucky....

I live a little everyday,
And at the end of it,
wish I had better died instead.

Genius.

Isn't life crazy like that? Life takes so much out of you it's hard to enjoy sometimes.

In the words of a crappy movie (which someone still managed to have one good line in it):

"Look around you, _this_ is your life. It doesn't wait for you to get back on your feet."

I've been thinking a lot about that these days myself. :) Gotta make the best of my days!

im not calling myself robert frost - it is one of the best quotes ive come accross and was written by robert frost

The only sure thing about luck is that it will change..

Good for you girl. Who says every individual is unique. There seems to be more than one of a kind...There's this guy you met and there's a guy I talked to. He hinted all the time that he is humble. Who for god's sake says that 'I am humble inspite of everything'???

Sonia said...

anon: why would anyone want that?!

yasj: doesn't seem like i do!

e-mike: sigh! tell me about it!

muse: life doesn't wait? but it's your life. time doesn't wait, but life... it's supposed to be your thing. do what you can with the time you've been given. if what you want is to take a break and stop worrying about time, you should be able to do that.

anon : robert frost said that, ok. but what about you? what do you have to say? and what do you call yourself when you're not anonymous?

AB: man! i have met those "humble" people too! you will not belive, I used to know a guy who told me "I'm very modest" !!

Hey... thats sounds like me...I am proud of the fact that i have no pride at all... :D

Living is dying..... so dont bother wishing... just have a blast...not the mumbai kind but!!

Sonia said...

indianpeppone: what does not having pride have anything to do with dying?

indianpeppone said...

Those were tow seperate comments....
the first on the 'humble' guys
and the other on ur post... proud to confuse you :D

Sonia said...

indianpeppone: err.. I'm glad I made a guy-with-no-pride proud I guess!

life is very simple sonia. you make your choices and don't look back. you die a little every day is cause u choose it that way. stop wishing and start living it hang out with some happy friends and enjoy..life is too short so live in the present moment.

anon number 3: wow! you sound like a fun person! real go-getter!

btw, WHY do i get so many anonymous comments?!

hj said...

Sonia: many anon comments cause we are really scared of you hahaha!

well im not real go-getter but do make the best of everything, especially with amazing friends around who make it worth the while. i was not trying to give u any wisdom...was just a comment.
